(Updated after four years of not using this website…)

As far as my non-professional life is concerned, I've got a great family life, I love good food, and I'm a bit fanatical about recycling. I am married to a beautiful person, exceptional musician, and talented licensed massage therapist, Katie Kingston (formerly Britto). We met in college. She's my best friend and source of my impatience to get home after a long day. We have two chinchillas named Bongo and Luigi two children named Alexander (2008) and Julia (2010), two cats named Dori and a cat named Luci, a plethora of potted plants, and we are happy, passionate vegetarians.

Lately, I can be found listening to everything from Art Blakey, Miles, and Brad Mehldau to Radiohead, Coldplay, The Shins, and Thievery Corporation, to Sundanese Gamelan, Béla Bartók, and Ustad Ali Amjad Khan; and reading Twain or learning about typography or audio recording. Geek much?

I'm happy to say that I enjoy life. (Although, it's gotten a lot more difficult and interesting since I had kids!)
